Nature of the competition

A group street dance competition with four divisions — High School, Junior Varsity, College, and Open — held on November 15, 2026 at the University Theater, UP Diliman.

Divisions & eligibility

High School — grades 7–12, school-endorsed. 15–40 competing members.
College — enrolled in a bachelor's, second, or master's degree, not older than 25. 15–40 members.
Junior Varsity — members aged 7–18. 10–40 members.
Open — any group, within or outside the university. 15–40 members.

Each team also names one coach and one team assistant (a second assistant costs ₱500). Active members and applicants of the UP Streetdance Club may not compete or coach.

Registration requirements

Submit the online registration on or before September 25, 2026 with:

Team name, school/organization, and a short team description (read before you perform)
Full roster — competing members, reserves, coach, and team assistant
A 2–3 minute dance video for pre-screening (one continuous take, no edits)
Team logo (PNG)
Digital acceptance of the Contract of Participation and the Waiver

Valid IDs, Certificate of Enrollment (High School / College), and PSA birth certificates (Junior Varsity) are brought to the General Assembly on October 10, 2026.

Pre-screening

Every team submits a dance video. The judges — the UP Streetdance Club Head Coach and Dance Committee — evaluate all entries using the competition criteria. Results are sent on October 4, 2026. Teams that do not pass are placed on a waitlist and may be moved up if an admitted team withdraws.

Routine length

High School, Junior Varsity, College — 2:25 to 2:35
Open — 2:45 to 3:15

Timed from the first audible sound to the last.

Registration fee

₱1,000 per competing member, strictly non-refundable. 50% is settled at the General Assembly on October 10, 2026; the balance before the competition. Nothing is paid during online registration.

Judging criteria

Scored out of 100 points:

Artistic (50) — creativity & stage presence (30), staging & entertainment value (20)
Technical (50) — musicality, difficulty & technique (30), execution & synchronization (20)

The final score is the average excluding the highest and lowest judge scores. Ties are broken by the higher Artistic score. The judges' decision is final.

Prizes

Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up per division, from a total pool of ₱500,000. Specific breakdowns are announced at the General Assembly.
